And I can only get the game to register that I'm using a controller ~5% of the times I launch the game. I'm using a DS4 (with DS4Windows, a program that makes it think it's an Xbox controller) because apparently the game doesn't natively support a DS4 (despite having the option to change to PS4 icons, and despite the Xbox app itself and other pc game pass games natively supporting DS4).
It seems like once every 10-15 restarts, the controller support will actually work, with nothing different being done between each restart.
